I stand in front
Of myself
Catching all the nuances
Hidden beneath the breath
That sinks lower
With each intake
A sigh holds its own hand
Trembling
Wondering which
Decade
Would it be over
And could let go
Wing and a prayer
Fly
Madame Song Flower
In full bloom
Taking off into the Unknown
Where being too nice
Is no longer a crime
Loving too much
Wouldn’t cost a dime
I stand in front
Of myself
Wondering how long
Will it take
Better still
How much longer
Must I wait?
