Putting the Landscape in Perspective

Nature in a box, dominion complete

Tear an eye from an ear and

We will miss what is most dear.

To look is to show, to see is to dream

To touch like a seed is to die and be

Reborn in the joy of the universe,

At its heart and center, a dream of us.

God of the twenty four is

No more than a furnace

Each glob of us signed by

The world that came before.

Fuel up for the marriage flight

Unwrap the package, tear into bright foil

Smell the aromas ingrained in our pleasures.

Are you the waitress who owns

The world collection of bar napkin poems

On unrequited love.

Sex on the slopes of Tora Bora?

The computer tech hiding in the mountains

Wants to do sex chat. Are you game?

Some people just know what is good or bad

By a word or a hesitation, even if its just

Thumbed into a palm pilot at the Wal-mart.

Response to home and signals

May fly in the face of cultural attitude.

But, think of home as that blue droplet

In the universal desert of the sky.

The seeds from the garden of the world

Are destined for the garden of the mind.
